ThinkZone Ventures welcomes the visit of the INCJ president and shares at the impact investment forum

April 20, 2023, In Hanoi, the National Innovation Center (NIC), the Ministry of Planning and Investment in collaboration with the Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) organized the Workshop "Impact investment: factors driving economic growth" in Viet Nam".
The program aims to promote Vietnam's economic growth with solutions to solve social and environmental problems through innovation, connecting investment funds, and financial institutions with innovative businesses. create and start a business. This is an event within the framework of activities towards the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan and is also a prominent event under the Vietnam Innovation Initiative (InnovateVN) organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment. ThinkZone Ventures had the honor of welcoming Mr. Mikihide Katsutama - President of the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (INCJ) - one of Japan's most far-sighted and influential investment funds with total assets under management of over $10 billion ($12.37bn).
During the meeting, Mr. Katsutama shared his experience and investment strategy of INCJ, as well as cooperation opportunities between Vietnamese and Japanese start-up businesses. Afterward, Mr. Katsutama and Mr. Do Bui, Founding Partners of ThinkZone Ventures attended the panel discussion as speakers within the framework of the workshop.
The panel discussion attracted the participation of many experts, investors, and entrepreneurs in the field of social impact investment. Here, speakers discussed the challenges and solutions to develop this investment model in Vietnam, as well as the role of stakeholders in supporting start-up businesses with the goal of solving social issues.
